12 Hours Into the Survey and…

Posted in Weekly Update on April 22nd, 2010 by jeffrey miller – Comments Off

The survey’s been out for 12 hours and we already have overwhelming support to continue our coverage at the 2010 TOC.

In order to make this happen, we will need donations – donations will be used to house our Coverage Staff and pay for transportation to/from Lexington. You can make donations to bluetub using the button on the right. Thank you in advance for any contribution to the TOC coverage.

We will determine our attendance at the 2010 TOC by Tuesday of next week depending on the amount of donations.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact Jeffrey Miller.

Apologizing for the Delay

Posted in Weekly Update on February 1st, 2010 by jeffrey miller – 1 Comment

I have not died, I’ve just been extremely busy.  I will input the Lexington, Golden Desert, and Barkley Forum results this weekend hopefully and update the rankings.

I will also need a copy of the results packet from Omaha Westside so I can include them in the rankings.

Thanks & Sorry about the long delay!

Ranking System Update

Posted in Weekly Update on December 1st, 2009 by jeffrey miller – Comments Off

Starting after MBA, the rankings will only reflect the top 5 tournaments for teams.  We’re changing them to not penalize schools who don’t travel every weekend.  This ranking system will almost be identical to the Baker Award, but will exclude some local tournament that may be maximum qualifiers.

Our justification for waiting until after MBA is that we have given teams five octofinal bid tournaments: Greenhill, St. Marks, Glenbrooks, Blake, and MBA.

Let us know if there is anything else we can do to improve the system.
